Description
SQ-710001 is a single-component, UV-curable casting varnish designed for transferring patterns and textures onto PC, PET, TPU, and other film surfaces. It can be applied using small molds for manual batch transfer or through automated, high-throughput structured rollers or textured film transfer processes.
Ideal for decorative surface finishes on consumer electronics housings such as smartphones, laptops, and home appliances, SQ-710001 features excellent release properties, superior UV and yellowing resistance, high transparency, good plating compatibility, and outstanding recoating performance.

Performance
Excellent yellowing resistance and high transparency
Good elongation with low shrinkage; after curing forms a flexible protective layer with thickness ranging from 50–250 µm. The coating resists cracking, deformation, or delamination even under 180° bending
Outstanding resistance to high and low temperatures, high humidity, chemical solvents, moisture, and UV exposure, maintaining stable performance under harsh conditions

Application / Process Instructions
Surface Preparation
Clean the substrate thoroughly to remove dust, oil, or other contaminants.
Manual Transfer Process
2. Pour the UV adhesive into the metal mold, align the PC or PET film with the mold, and use a roller or spatula to press the adhesive evenly across the surface. This helps eliminate air bubbles and ensures full coverage of the bonding area.
3. Expose the adhesive to UV light with a wavelength of 265 nm or 395 nm. Position the UV lamp as close to the adhesive as possible to accelerate curing.
4. Peel the PC or PET film from the metal mold; the adhesive layer should fully release and remain adhered to the film surface.
5. If the adhesive layer is not fully cured, continue UV exposure until complete curing is achieved.
Production Process (Roll-to-Roll / Automated)
Unwind → Apply the casting coating onto specially treated release film → Mold roller pressing → UV curing → Demolding → Rewind → Ink printing → Slitting → Forming → Injection molding → Peel off polyester surface film → Apply hard coating
Precautions
1. Ensure that the UV adhesive layer absorbs sufficient UV energy to achieve the best curing effect, otherwise it will easily affect the performance of the adhesive layer.
2. Remaining glue cannot be returned to the original packaging and should be sealed away from light and stored at room temperature.
Storage
To prevent premature polymerization or gelling, keep the product tightly sealed and store away from heat and direct sunlight. Recommended storage temperature: ≤30 °C. Unused product should be resealed immediately; do not leave the container open. Shelf life: 6 months under ventilated room temperature conditions (25 °C).
