SQ-704004 Dual-cure UV Topcoat Varnish
Description
SQ-704004 is a UV-modified polyurethane-acrylate topcoat containing hydroxyl groups. It is designed for UV coating applications on ABS, ABS+PC, and PC substrates, particularly for automotive interior parts. The coating provides excellent adhesion to plastics, high hardness, good leveling and fullness, water-boil resistance, and outstanding weatherability.

Applications
Dual-cure UV topcoat and UV clearcoat for automotive interior parts
Construction method
1.Clean the workpiece surface thoroughly with white spirit or alcohol.
2.Spray the primer in a cross pattern, achieving a film thickness of 30–40 μm.
3.Bake in an oven at around 65°C for 5 minutes to allow the solvent to evaporate.
4.Cure under a mercury lamp with an energy of 600 mJ/cm².
5.Bake at 80°C for 2 hours to complete the coating reaction.
6.Proceed to the next process step.
Precautions
1.Ensure that the dual-cure UV topcoat absorbs sufficient UV energy to achieve proper curing; insufficient curing may adversely affect coating performance.
2.Do not pour leftover coating back into the original container. Store it sealed, protected from light, at room temperature.
Storage
To prevent the product from polymerization and gelling, please keep it sealed and away from heat and light. Recommended storage temperature is not higher than 30°C. Unused products must be sealed and stored in a timely manner and cannot be stored in the open. Safe storage time is 6 months at room temperature( 25ºC) and under ventilation. 25KG/200KG/barrel
Tips:SQ-704004 has good boiling water resistance.
