SQ-703002 UV Topcoat for Vacuum Metallizing
Description
SQ-703002 is a UV-curable polyurethane acrylate topcoat/clear coat, designed for use as a topcoat in UV vacuum metallization on ABS/PC substrates. It features excellent adhesion to the plated layer, high leveling and film fullness, and resistance to boiling water.

Applications
Suitable for use as a UV topcoat for vacuum metallization on plastic substrates.
Construction process
1. Clean the substrate surface thoroughly using white spirit or alcohol.
2. Apply the topcoat in a crosswise spray pattern (film thickness: 12–15 μm).
3. Bake in an oven at approximately 65°C for 3–5 minutes to evaporate the solvent.
4. Cure under a mercury lamp with an energy dose of 600 mJ/cm².
5. Proceed to the next process step.
Precautions
1. Ensure the UV topcoat absorbs sufficient ultraviolet energy to achieve proper curing; insufficient curing may affect coating performance.
2. Do not return leftover primer to the original container. Store in a sealed, light-proof container at room temperature.
Storage
To prevent the product from polymerization and gelling, please keep it sealed and away from heat and light. Recommended storage temperature is not higher than 30°C. Unused products must be sealed and stored in a timely manner and cannot be stored in the open. Safe storage time is 6 months at room temperature( 25ºC) and under ventilation. 25KG/200KG/barrel
